By using a vinyl sticker added to a copper clad circuit board, you can make Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs). The vinyl prevents the ferric chloride from contacting the copper on the board in the areas you want to preserve. When your circuit board is etched, you can add electric components to build a circuit.
To have the vinyl cut, you need to use a sign cutting machine. These are common in Fab Labs, and many makerspaces. You may also be able to convince your local sign shop to cut a sticker for you.
